I had a very nice experience here, everything was perfectly fine, the location was incredible very close to easy walk of the rocks as well as pidurangala rock. I loved the room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast offered a wide range of good meals.

During my recent visit to Sigiriya, I had the pleasure of staying at Kalana Homestay. The location of this homestay is extremely convenient, as it is situated only 9 km away from the nearest airport. This made it an ideal choice for me as I was on transit during my travels. The proximity to the airport saved me a lot of time and hassle, ensuring a smooth transition to my next destination.

While my stay at Kalana Homestay was overall fantastic, I must mention one minor drawback. This homestay does not have air conditioning installed in its rooms.

Staff are like personal advisors, always there to give advice. The garden is great for some private parking and the terrace is perfect for pretending to enjoy nature.

Oh, and let's not forget the delightful surprise of finding creepy-crawly wildlife in the bathroom. Such a lovely touch!

There was a nice restaurant nearby and shops with price tags. The rooms were affordable and the quality was good. The host was friendly and gave us helpful information about transportation. a great experience.
